This limited edition hand-made design is a tribute to the artist Tom of Finland. Only 200 copies will ever be circulated and the molds have been destroyed. The material is solid sterling silver and its weight is an incredible 20 grams of sterling silver (925). (Approximations of +/- 1.5 grams are normal) The dog-tag has typical military tag dimensions measures 4.5 cm X 2.60cm (1.775 X 1.015 inch)  but depth it is much thicker than an ordinary tag (approx. 2 mm or 0.088 inch).       The photos display the 2 sides of the same tag, front and back. Please note however that this is for display purposes only and that just one single piece is for sale. The pendant is extremely chunky and heavy made from solid sterling silver, The chain however included is a silver colored (not solid silver) military ball chain that is made from surgical steel for its known durability. The lucky winner will receive two chains for the pendant, one measuring 70 cm (27.5 inches that can be shortened to the best fit easily with a pair of snips or clipper). The second chain is 2.5 cm (just under an inch) and is intended as a link.

More about this item The necklace comes packed in a nice dark colored gift pouch. The number of the copy (from #1 to #200) will be different to the number depicted in the picture. The exact number of the copy will be sent in random and cannot be chosen by the winner from the pieces we have secured by us. Minor details of variance may occur as many aspects of the making process such as oxidation are also performed totally by hand.
