The material is solid sterling silver and its weight is an incredible 20 grams of sterling silver (925).
(Approximations of +/- 1.5 grams are normal)
The dog-tag has typical military tag dimensions measures 4.5 cm X 2.60cm (1.775 X 1.015 inch) but depth it is much thicker than an ordinary tag (approx. 2 mm or 0.088 inch).
The photo displays the 2 sides of the same tag, front and back. Please note however that this is for display purposes only and that just one single piece is on offer. The pendant is very chunky and heavy in solid sterling silver. The chain included however is silver colored (not solid silver) military ball chain that is made from surgical steel for its known durability. The lucky winner will receive two chains for the pendant, one measuring 70 cm (27.5 inches that can be shortened to the best fit easily with a pair of snips or clipper). The second chain is 2.5 cm (just under an inch) and is intended as a link.
